Participate in the holiday yoga-meditation retreat course of Nepal Yoga Home (Meditation Center in Kathmandu, Nepal) with highly experienced yoga instructors and lift yourself up physically, mentally and spiritually.

We are designing this holiday yoga-meditation retreat course in such a way that you can visit the interesting places of Kathmandu during the daytime and participate in the yoga and meditation classes in morning and evening time.

After completing the morning class you can visit the most popular Tourist destinations near Kathmandu valley. You will back to our retreat in the evening (about 4 pm) after that you can participate in the yoga-meditation classes.

If you want to tour yourself that’s fine, we will give you good guidelines. Otherwise, we can manage the guide and taxi driver but you have to pay yourself for a guide and taxi driver.

5. Boudhanath Stupa

Next destination of holiday yoga-meditation retreat is Bouddhanath Stupa. It is UNESCO WorldBauddhaHeritage Site. It is located at 11 kilometers from the Kathmandu valley. This is the most important stupas outside of Tibet and one of the largest stupas in the world. Sankhu is believed to be the old entrance from Tibet to Kathmandu, which is near to Boudhanath Temple.

An ancient and smaller stupa of Chabahil Charumati Bihar is located just in about the distance of 2.5 kilometers from Boudhanath.  Charumati Bihar is known as Little Buddha.

6. The Pashupatinath Temple

7. Nagarjuna

Nagarjuna is named after a famous sage Nagarjuna. Bauddha Stupa at the top and forest is well known for its animal life. It is a close hill near Kathmandu valley located north-west of Kathmandu. It takes only 15 minutes(By taxi) to reach the bottom of  Nagarjuna.

8. Swayambhunath:

Swayambhunath is an ancient religious architecture atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley west of Kathmandu city. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple.

10. Narayanhiti Royal Palace

This is the former Royal Palace which is also visited in the holiday yoga-meditation retreat. In the south, there is the famous historic water spout of Narayanhity from which the Palace derives its name. Special permission has to be obtained to go inside the Royal Palace compound.

11. Bhaktapur Durbar Square

The Golden Gate is the entrance to the main courtyard of the palace of 55 windows built by King Ranjit Mall. It was listed in the UNESCO World  Heritage Monument list in 1979 AD.
