In this article, we are going to explain about Yoga for Pyorrhea Alveolaris. Pyorrhea Alveolaris is a chronic form of periodontitis. Periodontitis is an inflammation of the tissues of the teeth. It occurs because of growth of the germ on the exterior level of the teeth.  It may create the situation of loosening of alveolar bone leading to the exacerbated condition of ensuing loss of the teeth.

How does Pyorrhea alveolar occur?

The solid things that are masticated or chewed in the mouth remain in the mouth in the form of small particles. These small particles enter between the teeth in crack or gap of the gums. These tiny bits start to rot and emit the foul breath. These toxic products enter the blood and cause pyorrhea alveolaris leading to the extraction of the teeth.

There is a chance of formation of pus in the gums.  When gums get defected, it leads to the disorders of digestion.

Regulation for better teeth

Two times in a day, we can brush the teeth.  Immediately after getting up and just before going to bed one should clean one’s teeth.

Organic tooth powder can be applied for brushing the teeth. All sides of the teeth should be cleansed while brushing. After brushing, use the index fingers and thumbs to press the gums. You can bear pain if it exists in the teeth. You can also use the three fingers to clean tongue. In the case of tartar in your teeth, the visit to a dentist for scaling is advised.

Even indigestion and constipation also exacerbate the condition of pyorrhea.

Dietetic Regulation  for Pyorrhea Alveolaris

Pungent foods, chocolate, sweets, pudding of flour, mustard, coffee, tea, ice, cold foods, meat are advised to be avoided. When one is having a fever, one should not take milk and fruit juice.  Otherwise, milk and fruit juice can be consumed along with green leafy vegetables, cod-liver oil. Also, chapattis and vegetables are good for the teeth. However, pudding of flour with bran extracted, white sugar, chocolate, polished rice cause the damage to the teeth.

Yoga for Pyorrhea Alveolaris

Sarvangasana can be practiced twice a day which helps to get rid of the poison of pyorrhea.  It can be practiced for 20 minutes.  Matsyasana also can be practiced. For the sake of constipation and indigestion Shalabhasana; Uddiyaana and Nauli may be practiced. Nadi Shodana is advised to practice six times a day which results to be the boon for the blood purification.

It’s always important to maintain the strength and durability of the teeth as there is a connection between problematic teeth and several systemic diseases. The decay, the formation of the pus in the gum, cavitation of the teeth can cause several diseases.

Vitamin A, C & D and calcium are regarded as nutrients very important for the teeth. Also, a glass of orange juice and milk is the decent intake for the nourishment of the teeth. other practices of yoga for Pyorrhea Alveolaris are:
